Brettos Bar in Plaka – BRETTOS is the oldest distillery in Athens. It started operating for the first time back in 1909. Characteristic is the beautiful décor of a wall full of coloured bottles lit from behind that fill the entire back wall floor to ceiling, providing a colour spectrum in contrast to the 200 year old building.

Places to visit

Acropolis Museum – The new museum opened it’s doors in 2009. Excellent place to learn Greek history, they have a nice restaurant also.

Lycabettus hill – Highest places you can be inside Athens, best place to watch the sunset. Grab a taxi to Lycabettus hill, you can either walk up or use the cable car. There is a restaurant and coffee place up top.
